We are looking for an experienced law clerk to join our rapidly growing team! Our ideal candidate has experience in real estate legal work.

Role Requirements:

  • A diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a real estate clerk role, within a legal environment.
  • Have experience in or knowledge of the following programs: Microsoft Office, Conveyancer,Teraview, LawyerDoneDeal or a similar conveyancing software, and Ministry/Government search and registration platforms.
  • Experience conducting residential and commercial real estate files from beginning to end, including reporting and billing.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assisting in all aspects of residential real estate transactions from beginning to end.
  • Assisting with preparing legal documents for purchase, sale, and mortgage transactions.
  • Corresponding professionally with clients and financial institutions.
  • Conduct title searches, preparing and drafting correspondence and legal documents.
  • Deal directly with clients, financial institutions, municipalities, land registry offices, and title insurance companies in a professional manner.
  • Prepare record books promptly following completion of files.
  • Perform administrative duties as required.
