Our growing North American cloud based professional services and coaching business is seeing an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the leadership team.  The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the business, including leading, managing, and holding the individual managers and team members accountable to achieving their goals.  In doing so, the successful Chief Operating Officer will work closely with the individual departmental leadership team members to ensure they have the systems, resources, individuals, skills, and technology required to deliver world class results to our clients in the most efficient way possible.  In addition, the Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for overseeing the businesses workflow management, keeping everyone laser focused on driving outcomes, all while ensuring optimal communication amongst the organization and maintaining the high energy, collaborative environment we have, and keeping the team focused on our core values of PEOPLE, PASSION, INTEGRITY, & INNOVATION.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CEO to implement the vision, growth, and future opportunity of the business, all while developing the skills and abilities of the individual team members, helping them achieve their highest potential.
  • In collaboration with the CEO and other departmental business leaders, design and set comprehensive goals for each department for performance and growth, and hold all management accountable to those goals, while providing ongoing support and resources to support them in attaining those goals.
  • Establish communication and policies that promote company culture and the long-term vision of the business
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of the departments (Marketing, Client Service, Sales, Human Resources and Operations)
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and ongoing collaboration
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Host and run the daily team huddle and the weekly leadership meetings to maintain group accountability, to maintain the collaborative alignment of the business divisions and drive efficient organizational results
  • Host the weekly partnership meeting to ensure senior executive alignment and fulfilling any resource requirements needed for the partners to accomplish their goals.
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Manage operational work flow management of all departments, maximizing the focus of the team on accomplishing their objectives, delivering the highest quality product and service possible, and delivering a world class client experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • 5 plus years of proven experience in a Chief Operating Officer (or equivalent) role involving the management of a growing and scaling team
  • A proven track record of managing the team accountability of a growing business with more than 50 employees
